Plan Ahead As Much As Possible

The Department of Transportation believes that electronic cigarettes should be grouped with tobacco cigarettes because both are “smoking.” In early December 2010, the U.S. appeals court ruled that the Food and Drug Administration, FDA, cannot regulate e cigarettes as drugs or drug delivery devices, but only as tobacco products.
